Vow Renewal: Part I

A couple of weekends ago my parents celebrated their 35 years of marriage with their closest friends and family with a backyard vow renewal ceremony. It was an incredible night full of great memories.

My mom let me take charge when it came to the decor and details, so with the help of family and friends we made it happen with the $1000 budget.  We did a ton of crafting and everything was DIY: handmade signs, vases, jam favours, cupcake & straw flags, s’mores packages, picture clothes line, fabric backdrop, decorated vases, flowers, sandwich bar etc. When my parents first got married, my mom’s bouquet were daisies so we  made sure to include them in this celebration.

A HUGE thanks to our close family friend Jessi Allen for taking all of the photos!

  1. You did such an amazing job, definitely my favourite party you have styled thus far. It’s all in the details and you go it bang on, love everything from the sandwich bar to the straws, to the window pane with pictures, to the daisies. Love it all!!! Can’t believe you did this all for $1000!!!!
